Listen, it’s no secret that the church, as a whole, is in serious trouble. There’s no need to sugar-coat it, sweep it under the rug, or pretend that it’s not. For nearly 3 generations, we have drifted further and further away from God. We have fallen asleep while the devil has been allowed to cause havoc in our society, our churches, and our families!
The truth is, it’s time we had a come to Jesus meeting and face the reality of where we are. We have forsaken the God of our fathers. We have traded out old-time religion for show-time religion. We have substituted the power for God for popularity among the brethren. We have allowed our ground to be hardened and covered in the thorns, weeds, and the poison of this world.
It’s time the church wake up! It’s time to break up our fallow ground, and seek the Lord! It’s time we allow the Holy Ghost to drop the bottom plow in our hearts, rip up all of the layers of sin, bitterness, hatred, division, pride, and filth that has consumed us, repent of our wicked ways, and turn back to God!
I can’t explain to you the urgency of the hour. Time is running out! The church must repent and return to their FIRST LOVE! We will never be effective for God as long as our hearts are so filled with sin. We must get thoroughly right with God, and beg Him to extend His mercy to our nation. Otherwise, millions are going to suffer eternal punishment in hell, and their blood will be on our hands!
