Board of Directors
Take a moment and meet the people behind VOH Ministries. They keep things running smoothly, so we can continue to fulfill the vision.
Rev Connie Scott ~ Founder/President/Treasurer
With a huge desire to share her love for biblical worship and Christian music, Rev. Connie Scott founded VOH Ministries in 2001. That same year, after much prayer and preparation, VOH launched its first website and Connie became an ordained minister. No stranger to Christian ministry, Connie has been involved in various music and teaching ministries since 1988.
Connie earned an Associate of Arts degree in Vocal Music Performance from Central Wyoming College in 1992, a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication: Public Relations & Advertising from Weber State University, and continues to pursue her love for knowledge through various schools, seminars & training events. She is currently an adjunct teacher at Weber State University. Connie is an itinerate speaker, songwriter, recording artist, author, and seasoned worship leader. Her vision, as well as that of VOH Ministries is simple: Exalt the Name of Jesus and see the Body of Christ become a people of worship!
Kathy Easton ~ Vice President/Secretary
A supporter of Voice of Hope Ministries since its inception, Kathy Easton has been actively involved in local Christian ministry for over 25 years. Kathy helped co-found Crossroads Newlife Fellowship in Evanston, Wyoming, and was the youth pastor for CNF for over 10 years. She has been involved in women’s ministry, and several Bible studies throughout the years as well. Kathy brings a wonderful zeal and wisdom to VOH Ministries!
Brian & Carrie Wood ~ Directors The newest additions to Voice of Hope Ministries, Brian & Carrie Wood live in Cypress, Texas (just outside of Houston). They have supported Connie Scott and Voice of Hope Ministries since it’s inception in 2001. Brian and Carrie bring a creative touch to VOH Ministries, as they both teach in the theatre department at Waller High School (Waller, TX), and Carrie has a musical background as well. Brian was the technical director and Carrie is the theatre director. Both of them bring a keen knowledge of the business world, as they ran their own business for several years. They also bring a commitment to honesty, as Carrie is Connie’s older sister. They certainly tell it like it is, which is what every ministry needs. Carrie & Brian love the Lord and are actively involved in their local church. They have 2 beautiful children and are in process of adopting 2 more.
