Here at Voice of Hope Ministries, we desire to live godly lives, fulfilling biblical truths.  As such, we have established a core set of beliefs upon which we run this ministry.  Below are our beliefs as set forth in scripture.  If you have any questions regarding our beliefs, please contact us.    

We Believe:

• The Bible is the inspired Word of God, infallible and true… Mark 13:31, Isaiah 40:8, 2 Timothy 3:16 and 1 Peter 1:25

• The Triune Godhead is comprised of three separate and distinct personalities: The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, who are eternally self-existent, self-revealed, and function as one entity (Jesus Christ being the second person of the Godhead manifested in the flesh)… Luke 3:22, Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14, Isaiah 43:10-11, Deuteronomy 6:4, John 1:1-5 & 14 and 1 John 5:7

• In the virgin birth of Christ, that He is the Son of God and the Son of man.  That He came to save all those who will call upon His Name… Matthew 1:23, Luke 1:31-35, John 3:16, 1 Corinthians 15:3, 2 Corinthians 5:21 and Romans 10:13

• Man was created good and upright in God’s image, but through voluntary transgression fell [(Sin-separation from God) and death (spiritual and physical) entered into all mankind] and his only hope for salvation is through the redemptive work of Jesus Christ… Genesis 1:26, Genesis 3:1-7, Psalms 51:5, John 6:44, Romans 5:12-21 and 1 Corinthians 2:14

• Jesus Christ died for the sins of all mankind, according to scripture, fulfilling the Law.  All who believe in Him are justified through His shed blood (John 3:16-17).  Just as Christ died, we believe in His bodily resurrection on the third day, He was seen by many witnesses and then ascended into Heaven, and He sits at the right hand of the Throne of God, ever living to make intercession for us… Mark 8:31, John 20:17, Ephesians 4:9, Acts 13:30- 32 and Romans 8:34

• That Water Baptism is an important act of obedience to God and His Word… Matthew 28:19 and Mark 16:16

• The Holy Spirit will guide believers into all truth.  Through His indwelling power, believers are enabled to live godly lives and empowered to take the gospel to the world.  The gifts of the Holy Spirit are active in the Body of Christ today and will continue until Jesus’ return… Joel 2:28, John 16:13 and Acts 2:4 & 39

• That Healing (spirit, soul and body) is available to all believers due to the redemptive work of the cross… Isaiah 53:4-5, James 5:14-15, 1 Peter 2:24 and 3 John 2

• In a literal Heaven and Hell.  Heaven awaits those who have chosen to receive Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior.  Hell, for those who choose not to follow Christ and receive the redemptive work of the cross… Matthew 24:31-46, Acts 24:5 and Revelation 22:11

• Christ is coming again for His Saints; The Lake of Fire awaits the devil, his angels, the beast, the false prophet and anyone whose name is not written in the Book of Life… Matthew 24:40-42, Acts 1:11, Acts 24:15, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, Revelation 20:15 and Revelation 22:11-12
